Designing and managing the inward and outward visits INTERNATIONALISING HIGHER EDUCATION British Council exploratory grants scheme Visit of the HW delegation to St Petersburg – 13-17th May 2012 • Meetings with staff from Innovation Hub, spin-outs including KBST-ITMO, Magic Factory company • Presentation at the VI International Forum “From Science to Business” • Sharing of policies and procedures
Designing and managing the inward and outward visits INTERNATIONALISING HIGHER EDUCATION British Council exploratory grants scheme Visit of ITMO delegation to Edinburgh – 26th September-3d of October 2012 • The visitors attended Converge Challenge 2012 final and awards • Meetings were held with business development team and relevant spin-outs Hydrafact and Optoscribe • Plans were formed for future collaboration

Future collaboration programme INTERNATIONALISING HIGHER EDUCATION British Council exploratory grants scheme The key future activities are Short term Joint training and consulting in Research and Knowledge Exchange between UK and Russia through M2IES – further funding required Longer term Competition for Joint Research Proposals between Scottish-St. Petersburg Universities– further funding required
