  3. Secure environment • Lock on the door • Secure storage for paper records inventory • Protect your hardware/assets • Virus protection • Firewall (If wireless, ensure network is encrypted)

  4. Quite environment • Avoid extraneous noises • Avoid distractions

  5. Meeting facilitation • Bridge lines • Net Meeting/Live Meeting • Schedule reoccurring meetings with supervisors and subordinates

  6. Traits of successful tele-workers • Results-oriented • Self-motivated and independent • Well organized • Strong time management skills • Flexible
