  2. . Have you ever seen a animal with big furry ears, or a animal that is in a eucalyptus tree eating leaves? Chances are you are looking at a Koala. Keep reading and I will tell you more about the koala.

  3. Male and female Koala’s have little differences those differences are, Males have much more broader chests and faces then females. But, other than that both male and female Koala’s both have, claws for climbing tree’s, a big nose, also big and furry ears they have no differences. Are you interested in Koala’s so far? Keep reading and I’ll tell you more about Koala’s.

  4. Now that we have reached southeastern Australia let’s find a Koala. You would either see a Koala in a eucalyptus tree in the Jungle or in a area with lots of trees. You wouldn’t ever find a Koala near a water hole because Koala’s are marsupials, that means they don’t drink water because they already get enough moisture and water from the things they eat. Now that I have told you about a Koala’s habitat I will tell you what Koala’s prey on and what prey’s on it.

  5. I bet you’ve always wondered why Koala’s are in trees. They are always in trees for protection from dingoes, and foxes. But, those aren’t it’s only predators, also it’s predators are wedge tailed eagles, hawks, and owls. The koala protects itself from these animals by camouflage. Koala’s blend in with tree trunks and branches. The Koala eats dirt, stones, and eucalyptus leaves.

  6. The first stage of a Koala’s life cycle is a Joey. For the fist few months of the Joey’s life it stays concealed inside it’s mothers pouch feeding on milk. Later at 4 months old the Joey can look out of it’s mothers pouch. Then at 6 months old the Joey is too big for it’s mothers pouch so it rides on it’s mothers back. Then at 1 year old the Joey leaves it’s mother for a new home range, and after that a new life cycle begins again.
