  2. Energy • Energy is the ability to do work.

  3. Potential Energy • Potential energy is stored energy or also known as energy not in motion/about to happen.

  4. Kinetic Energy • Kinetic energy is energy in motion or called moving energy.

  5. Heat • Heat has three different types: convection, conduction, radiation(oh my).

  6. Convection • Convection is the transfer of thermal energy moving from a gas or a liquid from place to place.

  7. Conduction • Conduction is the transfer of heat when things touch each other.

  8. Radiation • Radiation is energy that travels through empty space to heat things up or warm them.

  9. Insulators • Insulators are a material that makes it difficult for an electrical charge to move through.

  10. Conductors • Conductors are a material which an electrical charge moves easily through.
