  5. SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE

  6. Java Media Framework  • Enables audio, video and other time-based media to be added to Java applications and applets. • Allows development of cross-platform multimedia applications.

  8. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS • Server requirements: • JRE • JMF • MYSQL • Tomcat as web application server transmission port for audio and video. • Client requirements: • JRE • JMF • Browser that supports JAVA applets

METHODOLOGY • Sample survey: A brief research was done about the project. • Information: The required information was unruffled from different sources like web, articles, and also from our seniors. • In depth study: studied the different ways of implementing the found resources. • Programming: programming was done using high level language JAVA. • Testing and maintenance: Finally after programming was completed testing and maintenance was done.

  11. CHALLENGES FACED • JM Studio can be used only once . • Restarting of computer is required for multiple use of JM Studio. • Problem in networking. • Problem in Error identification

Thus, we embedded the media player in the web page. we have been able to transmit audio and video with the help of JM Studio and have been able to receive them by the help of RTP player applet code. We succeeded in displaying the transmitted video in the web page. we connected the login page with database.
