Remember how you stay, and keep your children, safe in the real world. The Internet is real. Remember where you are. Take responsibility for your own, and your children’s, Safety. The Internet is a Real Place with Real Consequences.

You are more likely to be abducted via an internet connection than on the street. Use the basic Six Chatroom Tips • Keep your/their personal information to your/themself • Be aware of  'stranger danger‘ – ensure they are too • Ensure they stay public • Make sure their chat nicknames are safe. • Always check the privacy statement on the chat site before you allow them to enter the chat room. • 6. Know how to use the functions. Block/ parental concern etc...

Contact the authorities such as the Police or The Virtual Global Taskforce Change their personal e-mail and other tools or devices that you use. Tell them: Don’t accept what is happening. It is not your fault. Talk about it. You must keep the computer in a public space in the house - it shouldn’t be in bedrooms – you need to be able to see what your child is doing. Talk to your child(ren) about their usage
