2341 I placed this class of crossbred gilts 2341 I placed 2 at the top of the class because she had the most expansion in her rib and had the highest capacity of muscle granted she wasn’t the longest gilt in the class I placed her over the number 3 hog that is lacking the definition of muscle that the number 2 gilt has however she also carried good depth in her body so I placed her over the number 4 gilt in my middle pair because the number 3 gilt was the longer hog who carried the most depth of body and the most accurate muscle throughout her frame, granted the number 4 hog carried less fat in the ham she did not have the depth of body that the number 3 hog did therefore I left her third. In my bottom pair I placed the number 4 gilt third over the number 1 hog who was not as even under her belly and lacked the evenness of teats that I saw in the 4 hog however she was the most feminine faced hog in the class I left her last.
