  36. IPCCAT Categorization assistance in the IPC: Issues • Retraining with IPC8 classified documents from MCD and IFD (1985-2005) was not satisfactory : Lower precision than IPC7 • Memorandum of understanding about WIPO/EPO cooperation on this matter is in progress

IPCCAT Categorization assistance in the IPC: Plans • ES IPC8 retraining (300,000 docs) • EN/FR Retraining with IPC8 classified documents from MCD and EPO full-text corpora • Study for extension to Chinese (in progress) • More secure submissions (I.e. HTTPs) • Study IPC categorization at group level (ES)
