  2. Objectives • To create a global technological cluster • To disseminate RAS activities starting from Europe to Worldwide. • To provide a networking platform to extend possible cooperation opportunities beyond RAS cluster

  3. Challenges and Key Issues • Key Issues of success - Scope of the conference - main challenge - Location and time of the event - Involvement of well known people in technical committee - High level Keynote speakers - Get sponsorship • ICST offered to sponsor the conference by providing the web domain and logistic arrangement at the event.

  4. Framework • The event may take place co-located with RAS annual meeting. • The event may composite two wide tracks namely technical and project track • The technical track can be designed in a traditional way except keeping the length of the paper in short ( for example 3-4 pages). • Project track: Each working group inside RAS cluster can organize several thematic sessions inviting not only in FP7 projects but also national founded projects ( for example Europe, America, Asia, etc). The session might explore possible future project theme.

  5. Next Step • We can form a steering committee involving 5 or 6 persons • Based on the committee outcome specially the scope and framework, we may go for two alternative events. - Organize a large scale event giving more effects - Small event focusing mainly Europe • Possible Location- Mallorca and Time - September
