  1. [Fix] Failed to Jailbreak iPhone, iPad or iPod with Pangu More and more users jailbreak their iOS devices with Pangu. The jailbreak process has been quite smooth. Nevertheless, some users are reporting problems with it and they fail to successfully jailbreak their iPhone 6/6s/6s Plus/7/7 Plus. In this guide, we have listed some main problems and provide solutions. Note: Before jailbreaking, you should backup your iPhone/iPad/iPod first. 1. Failed Attempts If you fail to jailbreak your iPhone, try steps below: 1) Turn on the airplane mode of your phone and then turn it off. 2) Reboot your iOS device and your computer for several times. 3) Restore your iDevice with the restore functionality in Pangu. 2. Stuck at 45% If you come across "Error at 45% - Error occurred in preparing the environment, error code (0A)" when jailbreaking, this can be caused by encrypted backups of your device using iTunes. To avoid this error, please disable encrypted your iPhone backup in iTunes through the Summary tab by unselecting the check box, and take an unencrypted backup of your phone. Then jailbreak your phone with Pangu Jailbreak again. 3. Can't find Settings for Jailbreak Tweaks Because PreferenceLoader hasn't been updated to support iOS 10, you won't see the Settings for your jailbreak apps and tweaks. Under this circumstance, you need to wait for update of PreferenceLoader.

  2. 4. /usr/libexc/cydia/cydo error(2) Error The only way to fix the issue is to restore your device and rejailbreak it.Facing this problem, you can do nothing but to restore your iPhone and jailbreak it again. 5. Cannot Find Cydia App Cannot find Cydia app after jailbreaking with Pangu Jailbreak, just go to the "Photo" app and launch Pangu app again. 6. Start button in Pangu Turns Grey iPhone stuck at "Please connect your device and press Start" and the Start button turns grey? Just install iTunes on your computer, and connect your iOS device at least once, and try again. 7. Cydia Not Opening or Crashing Cydia Not Opening: Note: Please note that you are required to factory reset your iOS device, and restore it from iTunes backup: 1) If you take an encrypted backup of your device, then disable it, and take a full unencrypted back of your device using iTunes. 2) Put your iOS device in DFU mode. 3) iTunes will prompt you that the device is recovery mode. Click on the "Restore iPhone…" button to restore your device to iOS. 4) During the setup process, set it up as a new iPhone/iPad/iPod touch. Don't restore your device from a backup at this point. 5) Download the latest version of Pangu. 6) Jailbreak your iPhone/iPad/iPod touch using Pangu Jailbreak. Cydia Crashing: 1) Press and hold the Power button, till you see the "slide to power off" slider. 2) Swipe on the slide to turn it off. 3) Now press and hold the Volume up button on the left-hand side and the Power button to turn it on. 8. Avoid Boot Loop of Death Issue If you are facing the Boot Loop of Death issue, try tips below: Note: Please note that you are required to factory reset your iOS device, and restore it from iTunes backup: 1) If you take an encrypted backup of your device, then disable it, and take a full unencrypted back up of your device using iTunes. 2) Put your iOS device in DFU mode. 3) Plug your device into your computer.

  3. 4) Turn off your iPhone by holding the Sleep/Wake or Power button and slide to power off. Hold the power button for 3 seconds. Begin holding the Home button without releasing the Sleep/Power button for 10 seconds. Release the power button and continue holding the home button until you get a popup from iTunes that your device is recognized as being in recovery mode. 5) iTunes will inform you that the device is recovery mode. Click on the "Restore iPhone…" button to restore your device. 6) During the setup process, set it up as a new iPhone/iPad/iPod touch. Don't restore your device from a backup at this point. 9. Getting stuck at 90% Stuck at 90% during the jailbreak process? Try to jailbreak again using Pangu jailbreak. However, this time when you're asked to launch the Pangu, you should run the Photos app instead and then the Pangu app. Don't close the Photos app.
