Jessica Ashley Kahal Shares Highlights from Some of Her Favorite Choir Performances

Jessica Ashley Kahal, along with her high school choir Varsity Voices, went on a tour to Washington DC, New York City, and Philadelphia. As a part of a special invitation, Jessica and the womenu2019s jazz chorus had the opportunity of performing at the Kennedy Center. Jessica Kahal has also had the opportunity of performing at a candlelight memorial for the 9/11 attacks with her choir. Also, Jessica Ashley Kahalu2019s high school Orchestra performed their winter concert at the Armstrong Theater.

  1. Jessica Ashley Kahal Shares Highlights from Some of Her Favorite Choir Performances

Jessica and the Varsity Voices • Jessica Ashley Kahal, along with her high school choir Varsity Voices, went on a tour to Washington DC, New York City, and Philadelphia. • As a part of a special invitation, Jessica and the women’s jazz chorus had the opportunity of performing at the Kennedy Center. • The women’s Here Comes Treble as well as the men’s Doo Wop Group have also been pictured singing in front of the NBC Studios in NYC.

The Candlelight Memorial • Jessica Kahal has also had the opportunity of performing at a candlelight memorial for the 9/11 attacks with her choir. • She sang songs like "America the Beautiful" and "This Is My Country" in the school’s amphitheater. • Notably, Jessica also delivered a solo flute performance on ‘Danny Boy’.

Some more Highlights from the Performance at Amphitheater • It was an emotional and memorable evening for not just Jessica but everyone else who was present too. • A lot of students even stepped up to talk about their recollections of the attack. • The experience was extremely rewarding for Jessica on so many aspects.

  5. The Winter Concert • Jessica Ashley Kahal’s high school Orchestra performed their winter concert at the Armstrong Theater. • The orchestra program also consisted of the Chamber Orchestra and the Symphonic Orchestra. • They went on to sing songs such as the theme from Forest Gump, Schumann's Symphony No. 1, Movement IV, the Mozart, Flute Concerto in D Major, Movement I, and more. • Jessica was the featured flutist and also a featured student conductor in the concert.
