Please come to school dressed as your favorite book character! Don’t forget to bring along your favorite book! Prizes will be given away to students with the most creative costumes, so put on your creativity caps this weekend! We can’t wait to see your costumes! Mrs.Millette’s Friday NotesFebruary 8th, 2013 Cupid’s Café We will be visiting Cupid’s Café on Friday, Feb. 15th.. Students need to bring $1 to participate. They will enjoy a dessert and punch in a lovely Valentine atmosphere. Valentine Party We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day with a Valentine’s Party on Thursday, February 14th from 1:45 – 2:45. Briarwood Elementary will be electing a new parent representative to the School Based Decision Making council. Candidates will need to make a 2 year commitment to serve on the School Based Decision Making council. You may nominate an individual or yourself by emailing Jen Baileyjbailey6209@yahoo.com) a brief biography and contact information. All nominations must be received by Tuesday, February 19, 2013 by 5:30 PM (CST). Elections will be held on Tuesday, March 5th from 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM in the front bell tower of Briarwood Elementary.
