  2. What is usability? Usability is the measure of the quality of the user experience when interacting with something whether a web site, software application or any other device the user can operate in some way or another.

  3. Why is usability important? • For the user usability is important because it can be the difference between performing a task accurately and enjoying the process or not.

  4. What determines the usefulness of a site? • Utility: Does the site offer anything that people care about or need? • Usability: Can the user use the site and can he or she do so effectively.
