ISRO will launch new rocket SSLV on August 7, ‘AzaadiSat’ satellite made by 750

  1. ISRO will launch new rocket SSLV on August 7, ‘AzaadiSat’ satellite made by 750 girl students Chennai, Agency. Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is going to launch its small rocket ‘Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) for the first time on 7 August. According to ISRO, the rocket SSLV-D1 will take off from the launch pad at Sriharikota at 9.18 am. The rocket with a maximum cargo carrying capacity of 500 kg will carry an ‘Earth Observation Satellite-02’ (EOS- 02), formerly known as Microsatellite-2A. Its weight is about 142 kg.

  2. AzadiSAT built by 750 students will also be launched Explain that the SSLV satellite will carry an infrared camera of six meters resolution. On it will be an eight kg AzadiSat satellite built by 750 students of government schools run by SpaceKidz India. According to SpaceKidz India, the significance of the project is that it has been built as part of the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Independence.

  3. The satellite also includes selfie cameras The Azadsat satellite weighing eight kg will also have 75 Femto experiments and selfie cameras. It would be suitable for photographing its solar panels and long-distance communication transponders. This project with a mission of six months duration of ISRO is part of the Amrit Mahotsav celebrations of Independence.
