Secure Area • 33CFR 101.105 - Secure area means the area at a facility over which the owner/operator has implemented security measures for access control in accordance with a Coast Guard approved security plan.
Secure Area Signs • 33CFR105.200(b)(6)(iii) – Facility owner or operator must notify facility employees, and passengers if applicable, of what parts of the facility are secure areas and ensure areas are marked.
Restricted Area • 33CFR101.105 - Restricted areas mean the infrastructures or locations identified in an area, or facility security assessment or by the operator that require limited access and a higher degree of security protection.
