Ishmael’s descendants were the Arabs and Isaac’s descendants were the Jewish people. • There were three religions that came from the descendants of Abraham. From Ishmael’s descendants came Islam and from Isaac’s descendants came both Judaism and Christianity. • The founder of Christianity was Jesus, of Jewish descent, and the founder of Islam was Muhammad who was an Arab.
