  2. History • Snug Harbor Built in 1983 • Parking in Right-of-Way Over 30 Years • Formal MOU submitted to town in 2008 • Verbal approval by town for entrance sign

Current Situation • Lost approximately 75 feet of ROW • Mediation resulted in nearly 6000 sq feet • Expect sq footage to be graded and graveled • Primary purpose to provide overflow parking • Parking subject to Town’s restrictions • Parking subject HOA restrictions • HOA not structured to own or manage common property

  4. Recommended Traffic Pattern • Pattern would avoid existing wall • Pattern would avoid vehicle backing • Pattern would favor departing the parking area directly on to Snug HarbourDrive • Pattern would accommodate 10-12 vehicles • Pattern depicted on next slide

  5. Proposed Pattern

  6. Request • Establish an MOU based on the exclusive use of the ROW for Snug Harbor residents. • No or nominal cost to individual residents who desire to use the ROW • Justify this action from the precedent of over 30 years of use of the original ROW.
