Working Group #3: E-911 Location Accuracy • Description: The Working Group shall address questions referred to CSRIC in PS Docket No. 07-114, “Wireless E911 Location Requirements.” In Particular: • Outdoor Location Accuracy • Indoor Location Accuracy • Leveraging Commercial Location-Based Services • Duration:  Report Outdoor Testing Criteria due 3-8-2012 • Report Indoor Testing due 6-6-2012 • Report on commercial location based services due 3-6-2013 Communications Security, Reliability and Interoperability Council CSR C

  6. Working Group #3 - Current Work Activity • The Co-Chairs have had two calls discussing the make-up of the WG and have discussed division of the workload as well as setting conference call schedules and targeting face to face meetings of the WG

  7. Working Group #3 - Work Completed • No Work has been completed as of this date

  8. Working Group #3 - Next Steps • Tasks will be divided into three sub-groups • Leaders of the sub-groups will be selected from volunteers • It is expected that many of the WG members will be on multiple sub-groups • Identify the need for any additional members of the WG • Conference Call schedule will be distributed to the WG members today • Face to Face meeting dates/locations will be established – targeting October and January

Working Group #3 - Project Timeline • Working Group conference calls start September 29 and continue every two weeks till completion of Indoor Testing Report delivered in June of 2012. • Sub-group calls for Outdoor and Indoor Testing may take place on alternate weeks • Face-to-Face meeting at least in October, January, March & May 2012 for Indoor Testing sub-group • Commercial location-based sub-group will start to meet via conference call about November, 2011. Schedule of calls and any face-to-face meetings will be decided upon after initial review of work effort
