In All Situations • Always look at your caller ID before you answer your phone and if you need to keep it on slient. • If it is urgent just ask to be excused so you the people you are with want have to hear your conversation. • Never use foul language when around other people while on the phone.

  3. In the Office • During meeting at work always keep your phone on silent or vibrate, also never answer it because you don’t want them to think they aren’t important. • Let them know before the meeting if you are expecting an important call that you may need to answer so you can step out of the room and take it, but don’t answer it in the meeting.

  4. In Restaurants • Don’t answer the phone at the table. • If you have to step away from the table and go outside. • While on a date keep the phone on silent and don’t answer it just look at the caller ID and call them back later.

  5. In Transit • Never answer the phone or text while driving ,riding in a cab or on a bus. • If you need to answer the phone use a speaker phone or a blue tooth headset.

  6. Social Events • Be sure to remember to turn your phone off during any social event that you are at.

  7. Theatres • Turn cell phones off while in a theatre watching a movie or if you are at a play.

  8. Church • While in church also turn them off so that you want interrupt the service.

  9. School • Always turn the phone off during class.

  10. Here are some more useful tips • Take out your Bluetooth earpiece when you are not using it • Pick a non-offensive ringtone • Keep calls brief when you are with other people • Don’t talk loud or shout into the phone around other people or in public
