6. HISTORY Manipur International University, also known as MIU, was established in the year 2019. It is an Autonomous Statutory State International Public University established, recognized, and accredited by the State Moreover, MIU is established by the State Government of Manipur via Manipur International University Ordinance, 2018 (Manipur Ordinance No.1 of 2018). It was notified in the Official Gazette on 26th June 2018.
