  3. Water Line Details • The expected demand is 34200 gpd • Total of 114 home would be supplied • The Water line ties into an existing 8” water line • There is approximately 3016 linear feet of this 8” PVC • 5 fire hydrants spaced at a max distance of feet

  4. STORM Water Design • Throughout the project 3 types of drainage systems are recommended to be used. • Trapezoidal Channel • Rectangular Channel • Concrete Pipe • Designed for 25 year storm • Total Area = 23.4 acres • Q = 84.9 cfs • I = 5.5 in/hr • C = 0.67

  5. Trapezoidal Channel • Lies on the North edge of the subdivision • Runs from East to West • Channel Drains 10.49 Acres • Q = 38 cfs • Downstream section • Slope = 0.0127

  7. Rectangular Channel • Upstream Cross Section • Slope = 0.0461 • Q = 81.8 cfs • FB = 6”
