What does all that mean? • Perspective • Only other programs to receive a Division I from all performance judges with every band were: • St. Joseph Public Schools • Lakeshore Public Schools • Bottom Line – We are in VERY GOOD company and our program is admired in Southwest Michigan for its Excellence in Performance.

Middle School SMA’s • In the 2008-2009 school year the MS students racked up a total of 109 SMA’s • 30 events with 35 students performed at Fall Solo and Ensemble Festival • 44 events with 60 students performed at Spring Solo and Ensemble Festival • 4 students performed with the WMU MS Honors Band • 10 students performed with the District 6 Middle School Honors Band

High School SMA’s • In the 2008-2009 school year the HS students racked up a total of 141 SMA’s • 10 participants in the WMU Band Day • 30 member voluntary pep band • 18 events with 35 students performed at District Solo and Ensemble Festival • 6 events with 14 students performed at State Solo and Ensemble Festival • 28 member voluntary PIT Orchestra for the spring musical “The Wizard of Oz” • 5 participants in the MSBOA District 6 High School All Star Band with two members sitting first chair • 19 participants in the Lakeland Fine Arts Festival Honors Band

District Program Points of Pride • Edwardsburg is equipped with one of the best rehearsal facilities found in Southwest Michigan. • Showcased during the Fall Middle School Solo and Ensemble Festival (since 2005) • Edwardsburg boasts a state of the art Performing Arts Center. • Showcased during the MSBOA District #6 High School All Star Band (beginning 2009)
