  1. Horse Fly Spray for Your Equine Athlete In the United States, for horses, there are many types of pests, including the ever- annoying stable flies, horn flies, gnats, mosquitoes, face flies, and ticks. In some areas, your horse may be affected by painful bites from deer flies as well. Even house flies and other flying insects can swarm your horse's sensitive areas like its nose, eyes, and ears. Not only can flies and other biting insects be an incredible nuisance for your horse, but they can transmit diseases, which is why many horse owners choose to use premier equine fly spray, fly repellent, and fly masks for fly control and control of other insects. Some fly repellents come in spray bottles and aerosol cans, while there are also fly sheets and roll-on products. Also, some insect repellents will double as coat conditioners or be sweat-resistant fly sprays. With many products available on the fly spray for the horse market, finding the perfect fly spray for your horses is now easier than ever. Natural Fly Repellents and Fly Spray for Horses Natural fly repellents and country vet fly spray are perfect for animals that have sensitive skin and if you're looking for a more natural approach to keeping your horse bug-free. Typically, wild fly repellent sprays work by overwhelming insects with fragrances and oils they're not used to. These products make a barrier between flies and insects by laying on your horse's hair. Espree offers a natural fly repellent that uses a combination of citronella, eucalyptus, and cedarwood that's effective against most flies. In addition, this spray also uses aloe and sunscreen to protect your horse's skin. Other natural fly repellent sprays will use different essential oils like peppermint and lemongrass oils for insect control. Some insect repellents will use pyrethrin, which is a natural insecticide made from chrysanthemums. Like many other natural ingredients, pyrethrin is used to create a barrier between your horse and the pests. Absorbine, Ecovet, Mannapro, and Countryvet offer good natural insect repellents. Regular Fly Repellents and Fly Sprays While regular fly repellents and fly sprays are not as gentle on sensitive skin, they generally have more knockdown power than natural fly repellents. They contain ingredients such as permethrin and piperonyl butoxide. Permethrin is an insect repellent that can repel or kill insects once they land. Piperonyl butoxide is not necessarily

Farnam Bronco Equine Fly Spray and Pyranha Wipe n' Spray are good options. In contrast, companies like Tri-tec and UltraShield Ex, and MannaPro (especially MannaPro Pro-Force fly spray) offer many effective fly sprays and fly repellents. If insect repellents and fly sprays don't work effectively enough for your sensitive horse, you may also try fly masks, like nutramax cosequin, Manna Pro Opti-Force fly masks, fly sheets, or fly traps for your barn.
