  16. The Book of LoveConclusions • The Bible is God’s Word, and God is love. • It tells the story of how God loves us … and how he set a plan to save us from eternal punishment

The Book of LoveConclusions • If you love God, you will hear is words • If you love God, you will obey his commandments • These commands are NOT burdensome • Matthew 11:28-29 "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

The Book of LoveConclusions • If you love God and keep his commandments, you will be saved • John 3:16-17 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.”

  19. The Book of LoveConclusions • If you love God and keep his commandments, you will be saved • I John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.
