Academic Advantages Advantages based on USAL student profile • Short term programs are more affordable. • A large porcentage of USAL students work fulltime and this option is possible because they only take a few weeks off as part of their vacation time. • Less time of preparation required. • Several scholarships offered. • Some programs are paid at USAL in Argentine pesos. Why are Non-Traditional Study Abroad options important to USAL students? • Acquisition of a second language. • Improve knowledge of the host culture.

  4. What has been USAL students experience so far?

  5. SEMESTER OR FULL YEAR EXCHANGES Be an undergraduate full time student. Students should have completed at least up to the the 2º year of the program. Show proof of second language. They need to apply 1 year in advance. REQUIREMENTS FOR SHORT TERM PROGRAMS These differ from semester or full year exchanges • SHORT TERM INTENSIVE • PROGRAMS • Be an undergraduate full time student or alumni or graduate student. • Students may go abroad on their 2º year. • Most of the programs offer elementary level. • They need to apply between 2 and 4 months in advance.
