History of Punk rock • Punk rock emerged around the 1970’s in America, UK and in Australia, and inspired a massive subculture of people, who try to fight authority and create “Anarchy” • The movement started with bands like Ramones, The Clash and The Sex Pistols • In this day and age a lot of people would argue that Punk rock is dead, but thee are many variations, which will be included in my magazine, modern day Punk rock artists include A Day To Remember, Issues, Rise against and many more

  3. Target Audience • Mainly Teens, young adults (40%) • Mainly Male readers (64%) • Punk rock has a mainstream audience, but not as much as chart music • 71% ABC1’s • Fortnightly Magazine, High quality, quite thick (90 or so pages) • Realistically it will cost £3.20

  5. Other content • The main content of my magazine will cover the newer age of punk (pop punk, new wave, etc,) but every 2 months (4 issues) it will look more into older punk rock like The Clash, Ramones • Advertisement

  6. Front cover • The front cover will need to sell the magazine to the customer, so it needs to be bold, and must have an insight to the contents • Ideas for articles • Interviews with bands • New tours • New band member • New Album

  7. Imaginary Entity • For Micheal (Age 19), music is basically his life, and takes every chance he gets to see his favourite bands perform live, he can’t stop listen to his music for more than a few hours and is always interested in knowing more artists he can listen to, and will always suggest to his friends new bands he’s found. Micheal doesn’t have his own place yet and works part time at a music store, so he has the money to, and after work the time to listen to music as much as he wants, He gets a lot of the newest technology to enhance his music experience, but also keeps a hold of older technology to listen to other, older songs.
