  3. Committee Overview:Create the next generation of contract professionals How? • Strategic outlook • Facilitate the collaboration with institutions of higher learning, for the betterment of the contract management profession. • Improve entry prospects through improved relations with academia.

SPARC(Strategic Partnership on Acquisition Recruitment Coalition) Objectives • Align and engage stakeholders • Create mission-focused awareness • Workforce integral to mission • Partner with academia • Leverage existing resources • SPARC is: • Collaborative effort to partner with the federal government, industry, NFP, and academia to identify and attract talent to grow the acquisition workforce • Boundaries: • Will not propose change to policy, operate within existing • Focus on recruitment not selection • Promote diversity • Focus on Students
