Project Monitoring The Basics Monitoring - definition • Project monitoring – a task that needs to be carried out throughout the lifetime of a project, because it: • enables a regular tracking of the progress made by the project • highlights areas for improvement in the design or implementation of the project • enables delivery of high quality results

Project Monitoring The Basics Progress Report – general issues • one common report for the whole partnership • in line with the Application Form (Action Plan) • delays in delivery of the report • time period of the Progress Report (April/ October reporting period) • length and level of detail (long/ short version of the report)

Project Monitoring The Basics Short Progress Report – October • General Information • (general project data, details on reporting period, summary description of the project in English) • Progress of the project – last 6 months • (e.g. main achievements, added value of working transnationally, problems encountered) • Monitoring of QUALITATIVE indicators • (e.g. strength of cooperation between partners, innovativeness, capitalisation on previous projects) • IV. Date and signature of the Lead Partner

Project Monitoring The Basics Long Progress Report – April • General Information • Overall cumulative progress of the project • Progress of the project – last 12 months • (including reporting on WPs and investments, submission of supporting annexes) • Monitoring of QUANTITATIVE indicators • (indicators specified in the Application Form) • Planned activities for the next 12 months • Date and signature of the Lead Partner
