Updates and Information Updates • Classes / Class blogs • Homework • Embercombe’s involvement Last term and this term: Friday 28th all day • PAT – Helen Nicholls Socrates Tree • PE - Rocket Ball and Urban Polo – Go Active • Topic this term: Antarctica – The Big Freeze (South Pole) • Attendance is 96% Our School Target is 95% • Trips – Mr Benn, Year 6 Residential, Tudor Trip • SIAMS monitoring Visit, Reverend Susie Williams • PTFA events, Disco next week, • LGB set up, parents representatives Dr Joe Kent and Mrs Carolyn Henderson, two community governors are still needed if you know anybody we could ask or who might be interested.

  4. School Improvement Priorities

Homework Parents Evening Post-it notes last year Work across the PAT This year – EYFS/Key Stage One – Reading at least 3 x week and where appropriate homework is given linked to the children’s Topic. Key Stage Two – Reading at least 3 x week. Pick and Mix homework to be set based on four areas of learning, English, Maths and Science, Topic and Creative. There are a range of tasks in each area and children need to choose their preferred tasks.

  13. Questions Parents of children in Class 1+2 please make your way to Class 3. Parents of children in Key Stage 2 please post it note the walls. The Key Stage 2 Meeting will be at 4.05pm in Class 3. Thank you
