What is REEport? • NIFA’s grant and formula project reporting system, building on and replacing the existing CRIS web forms system. • REEport implements the Research Performance Progress Report (RPPR), a standard progress report format that all Federal research agencies will be required to use.   8. Characteristics of REEport? • No form numbers such as AD-416, AD-417, AD-419, or AD-421 • Instead: modules such as Project Initiation (which includes classification), Progress Report, Financial Report, and Final Technical Report E-mail questions to rwc@nifa.usda.gov

Project Numbers • Non-Formula Grant Projects are designated with its Grant Number, Project Number and an Accession number. • State can choose own project number • Formula Projects each have its own Accession number and a Project Number • State can choose own project number • Duplicate project numbers allowed E-mail questions to rwc@nifa.usda.gov

Who Can Submit a Project Initiation or Progress Report? • Depends on the permissions given by Site Administrator at the Land Grant Universities • 60 days before final deployment • For Non-Land Grant Grantees the PI is the default unless a Site Administrator is designated in advance by an Institution/Organization. • It is best to have a document signed by your director that shows delegation authority to submit projects.
