Risks & Testing • Risks: • Sensor failure at low temperature/pressure • Interference & Errors can falsely trigger actuators • Low battery when deploying chute • Testing: Interactive during development and at launch site. Requirements • Provide high capacity local storage (black box) for telemetry data • Provide high bandwidth communication with ground • Develop reasonable coding scheme for telemetry data, possibly for each stage of flight BIG BLUE II CDR University of Kentucky
