Status • 5th Int'l Verification Methods Workshop and Tutorial, Dec 2012 • Tutorial course re-run in May 2012 with 22 attendees from the Bureau. • Multi-branch verification project team developed a draft proposal • Standardisation of verification procedures for Regions; • Systematic use of verification in forecast process; • 'Verify' system in NMOC for operational verification of gridded forecasts; • Plan for operational verification and reporting of warning quality.
