Gottman- Think about attachment and parenting • Good relationships • +/- emotions and behaviors 5:1 • Anger not met with anger • Humor, interest, affection, validation • Good self soothing • Poor relationships • View others as bad and needing to be changed • Defensiveness, criticism, stonewalling, contempt • Difficulty repairing relationship after conflict
