  1. Applied physics By : -Manolescu Stefan -Badea Oana -Redai Radu -Mircea Guran -Comsulea Emilian

  2. Geophysics • Geophysics is a major branch of Earth science that applies the principles and quantitative methods of physics to the study of Earth's physical properties and physical processes affecting the globe and atmosphere. • It is used at physical measurements made at Earth's surface, such as: • surface measurements • borehole measurements • measurements from aircraft • satellite measurements

  3. The mathematic interpretation of the physic phenomenon • For different physical phenomens to be explained, they received over time several interpretations such as : • mathematical formulas of physical quantities . • the interpretation as graphics.

  4. Astronomy Today astronomers can calculate the distance between Earth and other planets in our solar system, sending radar signals during at the wanted surface and cronometring the return on Earth. The distance signals to distant star can be inferred from their brightness by using a method called parallax .

  5. Biophysics Wildlife study biological sciences represented by plants, animals and humans and the complex relationships between them. These representants of living nature have a very varied structure. The vital functions are complicated and improve progressively from simple forms to the complex as a result of adaptations are many living conditions. 1. Studying the structure and physical properties of living matter. 2.Studying of physical phenomens (mechanical, thermal, electriceetc.) 3. Studying the physical action of environmental factors 4.Using of physical techniques

  6. MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING

  7. The principle of M.R.I. is based on the water inside of a human body. Each molecule has two protons or H2 nuclei.

  8. When a person is inside of this machine, the protons inside the human body are similar with some bara magnets, which in a magnetic field can be averaged or they can go opposite the magnetic field

  9. Protons in the R.M.I machine Protons in a normal magnetic field The protons usually are avaraged with the magnetic field because this needs a smaller energy

  10. Information about the origin of the signal in 3D space can be learned by applying additional magnetic fields during the scan. These fields, generated by passing electric currents through gradient coils, make the magnetic field strength vary depending on the position within the magnet.

  11. M.R.I has got a magnetic field which has got two proprietes: uniform field denstiy and strengh The magnetic field cannot vary more than 1/10,000 of 1% and the field must be from 5 to 3 Tesla in strength. The only magnets which satisfy both of these properties at the same time are superconducting magnets.
