Uploading Videos • Upload them FIRST to a folder on your computer. • Disconnect the camera. • Open Windows Movie Maker. • In the “task pane”, choose “import video”. • IMPORTANT: when you upload video, UNCHECK the box that says break movie into clips! You probably don’t want this.
Shooting Good Video • DON’T rely on your hands to be steady. Always look for ways to make the camera more steady. • Use tripods, monopods, etc. • DON’T zoom and pan much at all! Your movie will take on the “roller coaster” effect very quickly. Hard to watch! • DO look over AFI materials to help you decide on the angle of your shot. Be creative!
Rule of Thirds • Check out the video on this page: http://jharding.weebly.com/digital-photo-apps.html Even though it is about photographs, many of the same ideas apply for shooting video.
Saving a Power Point Slide in WMM • Click on this link and watch this video: TURN A POWER POINT SLIDE INTO A JPEG Once you turn it into a JPEG, you can import it into your collections for use in your movie.
