Drafting Occupations • Job titles and duties vary from company to company • Drafters • Make working plans and detailed drawings. • Work from sketches and notes • Begins as a trainee drafter • Redraws or repairs damaged drawings • Advances to: • Junior drafter / Detailer / Detail Drafter / Assistant Drafter

  9. Architect • Plan & Design structures • Consult w/ client on: • Purpose of building • Size • Location • Cost range • Other requirements • Makes periodic inspections of building • Most are licensed
