  3. Food • The Sioux hunt buffalo, deer, and elk. • They eat berries, wild greens, camas roots, and prairie turnit. http://animals.nationalgeographic.com/animals/mammals/white-tailed-deer.html

  4. Housing • They live in teepees made of 15-50 buffalo hides. • In the summer the flaps open so they can get a nice breeze. • In winter the flaps close to keep them warm. http://www.shelterpub.com/_shelter/www_teepee.html
