Singular/Plural Possessives • A possessive noun shows ownership or possession. • To form the possessive of most singular nouns, and an apostrophe and –s (‘s) • To form the possessive of a plural noun that ends in –s, add only an apostrophe. (s’) • To form the possessive of a plural noun that does not end in –s and an apostrophe and –s (‘s)
