Structure of Temperament • Easy child • Difficult child • Slow to warm up child
Theory of Attachment • Preattachment phase- 0-6wks, identify smell and voice. No attach. • Attachment in the making phase- 6wks-6-8m, recognize parents. Do not protest when separated. • Clear-cut attachment- 6-8m-18m-2y,Separation Anxiety present. • Formation of reciprocal relationship-18m-2y on, begin to understand mom’s coming and going.
