GOALS OF THE PROJECT: • To develop the attitudes which help to mould morality of the students and prepare them for the active and valuable participation in the life of the society • Education about human rights, international law and its denial • To create working relationships with students of the partner school in Linz, Austria, exchange of the opinions and comparison of their points of view about human rights • Develop communication in English language • To support development of ICT • It has the ambition to create a deeper co-operation of teachers of Civics, Law Education, English and Computer Studies

  4. INVOLVED SUBJECTS: • Law Education, Civics, History, Geography, Computer studies, Club of Human Rights

TOPICS DISCUSSED IN THE PROJECT: • Crimes against humanity, war crimes and human rights • Refugees and human rights • Rights of minorities and ethnical groups • Discrimination - rascism, xenophobia, antisemitism • Women´s and children´s rights • Right to life and death penalty • Right to life and euthanasia • Right to life and abortion • Freedom of thinking, conscience, religion • Right to free election • Tolerance, the values of the proposed EU constitution, European citizenship

  8. PRESENTATION CEREMONY – THE BEST SLOVAK eTWINNING PROJECT IN SLOVAKIA The award in Slovak eTwinning competition was given the students by vicechairman of the government of Slovakia Mr. Pal Csaky

ASSETS OF THE PROJECT : • Motivation of the project participants to study with the use of the Internet • More information about other cultures from the first hand • Participation and exchange of the knowledge • Improvement in communication in English language • Creating teaching means for others • Safe way of the use of the Internet
