  1. Unbundled Dark FiberPhase 1 Mechanized Ordering PostOrder Overview

  2. Module Objectives At the conclusion of this module you should be able to describe the main elements of UDF Post Order such as: • the location of Service Delivery Centers • where Intervals and FOCs are located • where rate elements are found

  3. Service Delivery Centers for Wholesale • Orders are issued by the centers located in Des Moines, IA and Salt Lake City, UT. The ACNA or CCNA determines which center receives the ASR. The Operations Manager assigns new CLECs to a specific center based on existing criteria. • The Design and Implementation of all UDF product orders are handled out of Des Moines.

  4. Delayed Orders There are no Delayed Orders for UDF. If no Interoffice Facilities (IOF) exist at the time of ordering, the order is cancelled; however, no Cancellation Charges apply.

  5. Intervals and Form Order Confirmation (FOC) • Due Date intervals for UDF are located in the Standard Interval Guide (SIG) for Local Interconnect Services. • FOC Guidelines for UDF are located in the SIG – Service Interval Gide for Resale and Interconnection Services.

  6. Rate Elements Recurring and non-recurring charges are billed at a USOC level. The rates for the UDF elements are contained in the negotiated Interconnect Agreement, Amendment or in the Oregon Interconnection Tariff. The jurisdiction for all rates and adjustments is “5” or LOCAL.

  7. Delayed Orders There are no Delayed Orders for UDF. If no Interoffice Facilities (IOF) exist at the time of ordering, the order is cancelled; however, no Cancellation Charges apply.
