3. What is WesTrek? WesTrek is a nationally recognized, student-run conference that brings together MBA students from Harvard Business School and dynamic companies in the San Francisco Bay Area
Now in its 12th consecutive year, WesTrek expects to draw 50+ companies and 100+ HBS students
Dates for WesTrek 2008
Dates: Monday, January 7 through Thursday, January 10
Cost: $150 ($25 discount for TechMedia & West Coast club members)
Deposit: $100 (will refund upon completion)
Napa WineTrek: Friday, January 11 (cost and itinerary TBD)
4. What is WesTrek? WesTrek goal – enable participants to achieve two objectives:
Network with SF Bay area companies
Resume book
On-site company presentations
Sponsored company dinners and networking events
Space for all company events allocated via lottery
Have fun and get to see the SF Bay area
Social events with fellow participants
Social events with HBS alumni and Stanford GSB students. (open to all participants...)
Wine Trek to Napa on Friday (separate registration)

A flexible framework that allows each participant to target the companies they are interested in visiting
A great opportunity for you to network with companies and make contacts that will help your job search
A chance to have fun with lots of other HBS students WesTrek is not…
A complete itinerary where the entire group travels together to all the same company events
A series of job interviews where you should attempt to close the sale and expect to get hired on the spot
Focused exclusively on either career or social events
