The objectives • Implementation of a meteo-marine station on the Albania coast across the Otranto Channel • Acquisition and collection of meteo-marine data in an electronic data archive • Definition of the administrative programs for ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of the meteo-marine station • Integration of the new station in the APAT meteo-marine network and dissemination of the data
Zverneci Hydromet Station • The geographical position of this station is in front of the Sazan island, near by the Narta lagoon, in 10 km from Vlora City. • Narta Lagoon is the second biggest lagoon in Albania (area 5913 Ha). • The geographical coordinates : Φ=40 30’ 52” N; λ= 19 23’ 36”.
