  1. GOOGLE PANDA Google Panda is the core part of the Google ranking signal as well as it's an algorithm known as Google search engine update which keeps track of website quality. It is a search filter designed especially to terminate poor quality website.It was launched on 24 February 2011 and last updated on 2016. How does it work? As google panda target to a poor quality website, so the factors it depends on to judge a website as poor quality are duplicate, plagiarised or thin content ,user-generated spam and keyword stuffing. A quality score is assigned to a web page by a panda which is later considered as a ranking factor. This ranking factor is then used to rank the website based on their quality. After update performed in 2016, it has become more frequent, that means penalties and recoveries are seen much faster. Since Google never justified how many times the algorithm gets updated on their search engine, however, it is postulated that it has been updated 4 or 5 times per year. Many webmasters were hit with severe penalties for overstepping content guidelines. Google process 3.5 billion searches per day out of which 12% search is affected by google panda How is google panda still relevant today? As we already know it targets to a poor quality website.Google considered several changes that address many factors which are observed to affect the quality of the search engine result negatively. Those factors are as follow:- 1. keyword stuffing- including too many keywords intentionally to manipulate ranking. 2. Irrelevant content- contents are not related to the topic or insufficient to be helpful. 3. broken link- some of the links are dead that means they are not working anymore. 4. content farm-To manipulate ranking, the website generates an ample amount of content. 5. Auto-generated content. 6. content containing grammatical and spelling error. 7.unoptimised content. Hence make your website by taking panda into consideration that means consider the above factors so that your website hold good quality as well as good ranking.To avoid penalties you must take care of even small factors while creating a website.
