  1. Geofencing: A New Era of Advertising Advertising is one aspect that is constantly changing over time though the entity goes way beyond that history can even trace. The first time an advertisement was mentioned goes way beyond before even Jesus Christ was born. But over time it became one big part of human society was, advertising took an important role. Advertising narrows the gap between the consumer and the producer. Simply, producing a product isn't enough. The consumer also has to come to terms with it. Advertisements help in bringing the gap narrowed where the consumer gets the opportunity to know about the product and hence he or she can make up his or her mind about the product.

  2. As the modern time came, the definition about advertisements also began to change. Now, advertisements aren't abutted holding billboard. Nor it is about putting big pictures in the newspaper anymore or even making an ad with the product. As new technologies are arriving every day, advertising also taking leaps and bounds. Such is the case of the present day scenario where each and every day new technology is arriving and hence so is the advertisement.

  3. Once such way of advertising is geofencing. Truly speaking Geofencing isn't synonym with advertising or any kind of popularity. It was made with a view to keeping virtual boundaries along the different states or places. But, someone saw the opportunity of it and started to use geofencing for their own benefit. Thus though the purpose of geofencing was different, as time went by it became an integral part of advertising business where advertising occurred based upon the locality of people instead of throwing everything onto the face of the consumer.

  4. Geofencing advertising targets not only those people who are interested in the product but it also attracts people who aren't even in the consumer list. For example, as soon as a person enters the geofencing area, a notification is sent about the various aspects of the product into his or her mobile. These notifications could be anything. But most importantly, they contain various important information about the product. Thus that person, who wasn't interested in the first place, could also become interested once he knows about the product. Thus, geofencing advertising targets lots of people and the device they own to make it happen is, just a smartphone. Hence the advertisers could use the technology to promote various products and though some people aren't just interested now, could become interested once they know about the product.
