  3. So stop giving them your POWER! • Choose to ignore someone who calls you names. (Sticks and Stones..) • When someone lays their hands on you, with the intention of hurting you, run away, get an adult. • Don’t play fight

  4. When a bully approaches you: • Loudly tell them to STOP! • WALK/RUN AWAY! • WALK/RUN to an adult, let them know what happened. • The Adult will take action! • They will talk to the bully • They will assign an appropriate consequence (time out, detention suspension, expulsion)

  5. Keeping Yourself SAFE at School! • Don’t be in unsupervised areas. • Always have a buddy with you. • Don’t respond to the bully (WALK AWAY) • Get an Adult (Not another student) to help you. • Make the choice not to be friends with students who bully other students.

  6. Be the change you want to see! • Give a put up when you hear a put down. • Don’t be a bystander, get help. • Smile at everyone you see • People are different, enjoy them • Say one nice thing to everyone you meet • Get to know someone before you judge them .
