Executive Cellular Extension: Needs • A user of OXO is known by his internal and/or DDI number • All calls to his internal/DDI number must be automatically redirected by OXO to his mobile/cellular phone • It could also be any other phone (external or internal) • The user must be able to establish a call from his mobile to any destination (internal or external) • During the call the user must be able to activate services like: • Enquiry/Broker’s call, Transfer, Conference, … • The services will be activated by in-band signalization (i.e. DTMF codes) • As both incoming calls (to mobile) and outgoing calls (from mobile) are going through OXO, they can be supervised by an attendant for example.
Executive Cellular Extension: Solution Overview (1) • The user has a dedicated analog extension on OXO connected to a dedicated analog trunk access • Physical/wired internal loop between Analog extension and trunk ports • Calls received for the analog extension are seen as incoming calls on the analog trunk access and routed to the user’s mobile • The user’s DDI number is associated to his dedicated analog ext. • Calls from the mobile are set up through OXO using the Remote Substitution service • Calls are routed to the user’s dedicated analog trunk and extension • The called number is sent in-band (DTMF codes) and the dialing is received on the analog extension
Executive Cellular Extension: Solution Overview (2) OmniPCX Office ISDN ISDN External party Twinset Remote extension (GSM) AT Z UA User’s internal analog extension (“Z” interface) Connection to Mobile only through ISDN User’s desktop set User’s working place

Alcatel-Lucent Cellular Extension (ACE) Client • Client to be downloaded in PDA • Easy to use interface • On Smartphones and PDAs • Features activation by function keys and menu • Mask DTMF codes sent to Call Server • Application is automatically activated on incoming calls received from the PBX • Identification based on the CLI that must be in the DDI range of the PBX declared in the ACE application).
