Present Situation of Working Groups • Every wg must have the Terms of Reference • Level of activity of the wgs is variable • Participation of members to activities is also very variable • Activities of wgs depend much on the leadership (for the efficiency of the chair) European Association for Animal Production - A.   16. Present Situation of Working Groups • Few new wgs were formed in the last years • No existing wg had significantly changed the interest • Many interesting new subjects can be dealt by new wgs: poultry, aquaculture, EU relationship, … European Association for Animal Production - A. Rosati

Animal Fiber Working Group • The Council established the new wg on Animal Fiber • Nomination of a Carlo Renieri as convenor for planning of the new group • The Council establishes the ToR, such as: • Organizations of workshops • Publication of books and articles • Dissemination through EAAP means • Participation in international projects European Association for Animal Production - A. New Organization of Working Groups • The wg should be coordinated with Study Commissions • The wg should be composed of maximum six members (1 President, 1 or 2 Vice-Presidents, 1 Secretary) • Members are only for EAAP countries • All charges are for three years, renewable once European Association for Animal Production - A. Rosati

New Organization of Working Groups • Members of the wg will have on-line free access to Animal • Wgs reports their activities to the Council and to the General Assembly • One meeting per year of the wg is required, other forms of meeting (i.e. electronic) might be necessary European Association for Animal Production - A.
