  3. Summary • To Write a Percent as a Decimal: • Delete the percent sign • Move the decimal point two places to the left.

  4. Summary • To Write a Percent as a Fraction: • First write the percent as a decimal • Next, write the decimal as a fraction • Finally, write the fraction in lowest terms.

  5. Summary • To Write a Fractional Percent as a Decimal: • Write the fraction as a decimal percent • Convert the decimal percent to a decimal--ie. delete the percent sign and move the decimal point two places to the left.

  6. Summary • To Write a Decimal as a Percent: • Move decimal point two places to the right • Attach percent (%) sign.

  7. Summary • To Write a Fraction as a Percent: • Multiply the fraction by 100 and express the result in lowest terms • Attach percent (%) sign.
