  2. History • STR International, Inc. is a Russian manufacturer of high-quality, commercial/industrial security equipment products, specializing in Microwave Intrusion Detectors. Founded in 1993, the company has 400 employees worldwide, with it’s North American headquarters located in Toronto, Ontario. • Design and manufacturing began in the early 90’s to assist the Russian Military and Correctional Facilities throughout Siberia. • With outdoor detection being an integral part of many security system strategies, the organization is well known worldwide for its three-year warranties, extreme temperature resistance and compact lightweight dimensions. • STR’s product line-up includes the award winning Digilon™ Technology, with “RADIY” and “AGAT” series.

  3. Operation • The detector is intended to be used as an alarm detector and provides the detection of an intruder crossing the detection zone. • The core function of the detector is to protect a perimeter and detect walking or crawling humans, with an extremely low false alarm rate.

Products RADIY series: • Microwave “Invisible Fence” intruder detectors, providing reliable detection utilizing the sophisticated Digilon™ technology, which allows the detector to distinguishing between a moving human (walking, crawling) and an animal or foliage movement. • The detectors incorporate a unique technology which allows for change terrain levels, i.e. no false alarms are generated during heavy snowfalls. The RADIY series detectors currently are the only ones on the market with a feature such as this. R-300 (1000ft) , RADIY-2 (655ft) , RADIY-2/1 (328ft) , RADIY-2/2 (164ft) and RADIY-DM (164ft)
